Here we go again!

Well, my last blog entry was acknowledging that I have had this blog up for 5 years now. As I was reading through some of my old entries I saw that I was imagining where life would be in 6 years. Although it has only been 5 I never imagained I would be HERE!!! In the past two years life has become even crazier, but it is a GREAT life that God has blessed us with. I am not saying that our household isn't faced with challenges and we are a FAR (FAR) way from perfect, but life is good. I will attempt to give as brief of an update as I can and my goal is to have weekly updates for awhile. The first week of June 2010 Rusty got custody of his 2 girls. Then on August 14th 2010 Rusty and I got married and we quickly became a family of 8. The kids started school 5 days after the wedding and I though I would have "time" to get our home more organized....hahaha jokes on me!!!! After having some medical stuff going on in October 2010 my doctor told us that if we thought we wanted any children together that time was no longer on our side...On September 11,2011 we were blessed with our beautiful Savannah Lee! We were a happy family of 9....holy geez. Well, we took a quick trip to Michigan in November so Rusty's family could meet Miss Savannah and Rusty went hunting EVERYDAY. Christmas was here before we knew if and I just never felt right after Savannah was born. I thought for sure it had something to do with having an epidural (Savannah was my first birth with drugs). I had a doctor appointment in February to go over a few things and I told the doctor I just wasn't feeling right. His response was "you shouldn't feel right, you're pregnant" I seriously thought he was joking with me. I JUST had a baby!!!! Well, initially I was in shock (and Rusty was scheduled to get fixed at the end of the week) and once the shock/disbelief wore off we were excited! And on August 8,2012 Brooklyn Ann joined our crazy household! Brooklyn was was born 3 days shy of being exactly 11 months younger than Savannah and she was born 6 days before our 2nd wedding anniversay. So in 2 years we went from being single to a complete family of 10 (I didn't leave the hospital until I was unable to produce more children)!!! So our 2012-2013 school year started on August 16th and this year we have: Devyn 6th grade- She started middle school this year Makayla 5th grade Dakota 3rd grade Jordyn 3rd grade Alana 2nd grade and Katelyn Kindergarten---yes my baby started Kindergarten It was actually harder on me watching my Devyn skip off to middle school than it was dropping Kate off at Kindergarten. Well, that's what we have been up to and I will TRY to update more often.
