I truly had NO idea what a "white Christmas" was about! But this year was the first time I experienced it!!! Although I didn't get to Michigan until Christmas day there was snow on the ground in my stops from Denver to Chicago and the entire drive to Michigan. I woke up on Saturday morning to a fresh layer of snow on the ground....and it never stopped snowing. It snowed EVERY day I was there....for nine days straight. Not to mention the fact that the airline has lost my baggage. So the entire trip I had nothing of mine. I had to go get a "few things" and lived like that in hope the airline would get me my stuff in a couple days!
Needless to say I really enjoyed my visit....I don't think I will willingly live in the snow...it is totally awesome from inside the house and you can't stay in the house for the entire winter....lol.We miss the kids and look forward to seeing them for the summer.
