2009 so far....
So far this has been a GOOD year. Today is the 16th of January and things are going fairly well. Last weekend the kids went with Joel Thursday thru Sunday and I took advantage of it this time. My "free" weekends will be coming to an end soon. The kids were pick up at 10am and by 11am is was on the road. I took a road trip to see a very special friend of mine in Victorville. She gave birth to boy-girl twins 3 months ago and I really wanted to go see them. It felt so good to hold those babes. Not to mention the fact that we were able to get in some serious "girl time". I have a wonderful relaxing weekend and I hope to be able to visit them again soon. This weekend is a 3-day weekend and the kids and I don't really have anything planned. We will see.....

Hummm....What happen to ME????
I can't believe I missed the entire month of December!!I think we just skipped that month all together!Let me try to think back.....it is kind of a blurr.The first two weeks were "normal" for us. My busy schedule of picking up and dropping kids off. Then came Winter Break! I have no idea what the school district is thinking by making Christmas vacation 3 weeks long. What in the world am I suppose to do with a 7 and 4 year old for 3 weeks.I guess so far I've managed!
Well, Rylee turned one on the 20th and I totally missed her birthday. That week me and two of the kids came down with the flu.YUCK!!!!Then for Christmas Kari and Rylee had it! Christmas was a bit thin with people this year.
For New Years we celebrated my friend Traci's 30th birthday....it was tons of fun!So far 2009 has been awesome!!!This past weekend we celebrated my friend Mandi's birthday and went out dancing. This was an ENTIRELY new experience for me. Having gotten married just after my 21st birthday it just wasn't something I did. But let me tell in 2009 I am totally reinventing who I am. It is so liberating!!
So in 2009.....I will turn 30,get down to a single digit pant size(one more to go), have a career goal and plan, take care of my sweet babies, and have a bit of me time!!!!Although life hasn't turned out how I thought it would God takes care of me and my kids!! I LOVE my LIFE!!!!!!!
