Thanksgiving is TOMORROW!!!!

I can't believe that Thanksgiving is tomorrow!I am really not sure where this past year has gone!A lot of it I would LIKE to forget about, yet I have a LOT more to be thankful for this year. The girls and I are doing GREAT!!!!Life is plugging along nicely I am really excited to see what God has in store for me and the kids in 2009!!!The pictures in the slide show are courtesy of my wonderful sister Kari!!!

WE'VE BEEN ATTACKED!!!!!!!

By Head Lice that is! It has been awful! First off my poor children have been tortured for the past 10 days at times scratching their heads uncontrollably. Plus, can you IMAGINE the time it has take to comb through Devyn's hair?!? I'm not sure exactly where they came from, but those little critters DON'T want to DIE!!!!!So......after 3(yeah that's 3)prescription treatments and countless times washing EVERYTHING I decided to look up on the internet some ideas for home remedies.(What did mothers do before the internet?)And this is what I found.......
I bought regular Listerine (yeah like the mouthwash) and I put it full strength into a spray bottle. I then sprayed it on the girls heads....starting at the scalp and completely soaking their heads with the stuff. I then covered their head with a shower cap and let it sit for 2 hours. When the 2 hours were up I threw them into the tub and rinsed their hair.(Just rinse....not wash). I then once again picked through their hair and this time EVERYTHING I found was DEAD!!!!!!FINALLY the answer to my problem! We have been bug free for 3 days now.
I am completely paranoid about the whole thing, but hopefully I found the solution to our problem.
