....JUST CRAZY!!!!

After a very emotionally charged weekend there has been NO time to reflect on the events that took place. I have been on the move! One of my very first post on here was titled The Crazy Neighbor Lady. That was me until today and today I'm JUST CRAZY!!!
Kari (my sister) started back to work last week. I was supposed to watch Rylee (my neice) for her, but because I had just had surgery we pushed my start date back a week and so today was my first day on the job. Kari was here and dropped Rylee off at ten til 7am this morning. Which if anyone knows me and me kids that is REALLY early. On average Jordyn wakes up around 9am and Katelyn around 10am. Rylee got here and within 5 minutes of her mom leaving she was crying and I couldn't get her to stop. It was at that moment I thought I needed my head examined! I was trying to get Rylee quiet, get Devyn ready of school and then Katelyn woke up. HELP!!!!!!! Rylee went in the swing, Devyn went out the door and Katelyn got a bottle. Katelyn went down for a nap, Rylee got a bottle and fell to sleep. I had both babies down for a nap and it was just 8:10am. Whew!!! What a morning!
After that I felt very accomplished. I was able to take a shower and get my hair and make up done all before Jordyn woke up. Jordyn got up, had breakfast, got dressed, her hair got done, and now we were ready for our 1st day of Preschool. She goes to Preschool Mondays and Wednesdays for 90 minutes. It is now noon both babies are down for nap #2 and I have 30 minutes until I have to pick Jordyn up. I will fill you in later on the rest of my day...I am going to pray right now that the rest of it goes this smoothly!!!

Catch Up Time

It feels as though I haven't had a moment to really catch my blog up. After coming home from the hospital Devyn was on Spring break. I think it was the longest week of my life! She was so bored....I was on driving restrictions for the first half of the week and was moving really fast at the end of the week. She will forgive me I am planning a really special trip for the kids for May! We all know that kids say funny things and I have one. The only time I had ever been in the before was for the birth of my children (It's alot more rewarding and a lot less painful). So when Devyn was on the way to the hospital to see me she said ," I hope this time mommy brings home a brother." Poor thing....imagine the disappointment. Devyn only has a few weeks of school left and she is excited about summer. (That and the fact her birthday is the week school gets out)

Jordyn is still spending Tuesdays at Daycare and LOVES it there. I don't know how I will ever pull her out of there. I guess everyone has to move on. Jordyn is still in gymnastics on Tuesdays and Thursdays and we will do that until summer starts. Tomorrow is a really big day for Jordyn....she gets to start preschool!!! It is a special speech and language preschool. She gets to go 2 days a week 90 minutes each day. This school will help her improve her speech as well as interacting with other kids. We are VERY excited.

AND Katelyn---she keeps me BUSY!!! She just turned 7 months old and is EVERYWHERE! She gets into her sisters toys and eats the newspaper, you know "normal" baby stuff. I have been making all her baby food for her and she loves it! I actually think that she is finally gaining some weight. Well sorry for such a long post, but I needed to catch up!

D-R-A-M-A

As if my life didn't have enough drama in it...I had surgery on Tuesday. Life was actually getting back to "normal". The flu had past and spring was in the air. That's what I thought!!

I woke up in the middle of the night both Friday and Saturday nights thinking I had heartburn. When I woke up on Saturday the pain was a little more localized under my ribs and I knew that it could be something more serious than heartburn. I went to church on Sunday (two of my friends had their babies dedicated) and we went to lunch after. I was going to go to the urgent care but by the time I got around to it they were closed. So I told my mom that I would just wait and see my Dr in the morning. Well....the pain hit me at 10pm on Sunday night and by 11pm I told my mom to take me to the ER. They got me right in, took my blood, the Dr came to talk to me and then the admitted me. I was scheduled for a ultrasound when the got in. That was around 9am Monday the Dr came to talk to me again. I finally got a room upstairs. I was then scheduled for surgery at 5pm on Tuesday night. I was sent home from the hospital and got home at 7:30 on Wednesday night. I am now on the SLOW road to recovery.
OK 15 minutes blogging and I need a nap!!!
