Technically it's FRIDAY!!!...by 2 minutes

Yeah I have almost made it through another week. It is just after midnight and I really should be heading to bed. As I sit here and type Jordyn is SOUND asleep next to me...she is so cute!

Lately I have been pondering some "life options". What to do NEXT?!?! Do I go back to school? God help us all! Do I go to work full time/part time? Do I go to a trade school? I have spent a lot of time in prayer. I pray that I make wise choices for me and my family. I am also hoping to maximize my time with the girls. Being a mom is the most important "job" I will EVER have!

Well, I really need to get to bed...I will keep everyone posted regarding Katelyn's blood work. See ya later.

To the Dr. AGAIN!!!!

I can't remember the last time I had as frustrating of a day as I did yesterday! It started out ALMOST as a normal day would. We got to sleep in an hour longer because Devyn had a dentist appointment. SO everyone was up we got feed (I had my first interruption a 30 minute phone call), so then we rushed to get dress, hair combed, and our teeth brushed. I then had my 2nd setback....Jordyn who has been potty trained for almost a year peed her pants. She did this while standing in front of the bathroom. I asked her what happened as I hurried to change her and she said, "I think it was an accident mommy." She's killing me!!! So we finally get out the door and it was time to drop Jordyn off at the sitter....as soon as we turned the corner to Jackies house Jordyn started throwing her fit. Finally, we were headed to the Dentist (which I've been frustrated with since Day 1). We get there on time and sit waiting our normal hour. The dentist comes in looks in Devyns mouth and starts to leave. We were there for a filling!!! She went from 2 cavities to 5 in 2 weeks and then he says that one of the teeth needs a root canal.....on a primary tooth?!?! Got to love those HMO's!!!! So an hour and a half later we leave the dentist with NOTHING done!!!

So we were in town and Katelyn has had a horrible rash since Friday so I "stopped by" the Dr office to see if they could squeeze us in sometime during the day. They took us right back!! My poor baby is all itchy. The Dr gave us some cream and sent us to the lab for allergy testing. Poor Katelyn....she was NOT liking the needle!

So TODAY I have to called the Dental insurance company to see about getting a dentist or new plan or something. I my goal today is to just make Katelyn comfortable!! I am just so thankful that I was able to get away this past weekend....it was so relaxing and peaceful.

2008...

We are only 1/2 way through January and I can't count how many time was have ALREADY been to the Doctor...and no one is sick...lol.

I think Katelyn gets the prize for most thrilling Dr. visit. We were getting ready for church and when I took her jammies off her middle toe was swollen as large as her big toe. I called 911 and they wouldn't touch it......so we took an ambulance ride to the hospital. What had happen was a hair got stuck in the foot of her jammies and tangled itself around her toe. We nearly lost her toe. It was pretty scary!!!

Other than that January has gone pretty smoothly. At this end of this week my mom, sister, my new niece Rylee, Katelyn and I are flying to AZ to see some of our family. I am so excited!!! I has just been about a year since we were there last, but a lot in life has changed and it is always good to see our family. We still miss them a lot.

Well, now I'm rambling so I better get......Hopefully I can get back to blogging on a more regular basis. Til next time

What happen to 2007?!?!?!

I can't believe that it is already 2008.....The end of 2007 went by way too quickly! My cousins have inspired me to continue with and update my blog.

My last post was to announce the birth of my 3rd daughter Katelyn Irene. Since then Jordyn had tubes in her ears as well as had a birthday. Jordyn is now 3 years old!! Devyn is still a big 1st grader and likes her teacher very much. My sister had her first baby Rylee Kay...I'm finally an auntie!!! And Christmas came and went.

Although the end of 2007 had it's share of struggles the Lord continues to Bless our family.
