Where is June going?

I just looked at the calendar and can NOT believe that this is the LAST week of June. I have 8 weeks until the baby is due. My doctor has talked with me about possibly breaking my water a couple weeks early. There are a few reasons for this discussion....although I'm not diabetic this baby is measuring a bit on the large side. The Dr. also is estimating that I could deliver this baby within an hour and therefore either not giving myself enough time to get to the hospital or not allowing Joel enough time to get there from work. We will see.....I will probably just chicken out and let nature take care of things on it's own!!!
Devyn was really busy last week she went to Music Camp as well as a VBS in the evenings. Tomorrow she gets to come with me to a few appointments and then we will probably go swimming. Other than that she gets to be pretty lazy this week
I'm not sure if Jordyn is enjoying Devyn being home or if she finds her more of a nuisances. Jordyn got to go to VBS last week and she had a ton of fun. She is getting so big!!!! That's pretty much all that is going around the Harbert household right now. I will try to post again soon.

Happy Birthday Devyn!!!

Today is June 6th.....Devyn's birthday!!! I am having a bittersweet moment. I am excited that she is growing up, but just a little sad that 6 years have gone by so quickly. Not only is today her 6th birthday, but tomorrow she will officially become a 1st grader. I was also thinking where will my children be in another 6 years. Devyn will be 12 and in Jr. High, Jordyn will be in 3rd grade, and my baby (the one still baking) will be finishing Kindergarden. I better quit blinking.....

I have become the crazy neighbor lady!!!!

As of yesterday I have officially become the "crazy neighbor lady". I know that if I had peeked out my window yesterday and was an onlooker to my own activities I would have laughed. Here I am 7 months pregnant and my nesting instinct has taken over. I have unexplained energy on very little sleep....oh well, that's just the circle of life! So yesterday I decided that the grass was a little too long for my liking...so I mowed it!!! My yard looked nice, but the windows were dirty...so I took care of those too....and you can't put a dirty screen on a clean window so those got done too. As I was on my hands and knees in the driveway scrubbing the screens a neighbor slowed down as she drove by just shaking her head at me. That was the defining moment when I knew I had become the "crazy neighbor lady”.

June Already!!!

I can't believe that it is already the first of June!! Summer break is only a week away and I am so unprepared! Devyn has 5 days until her 6th birthday and only 4 days left of Kindergarden (bittersweet). With Devyn home Jordyn and I have no more "alone time" before baby #3 arrives. I am due in 12 weeks, but since I have measured large the past two visits it looks like I may only have 10 weeks to go. Our interesting adventure is just beginning!!! This is the first summer that I will be at home in 5 years. I can't wait to see what is in store.
